Nicholson’s are an established motor group, with five branches across the North Island 
of New Zealand.

As a family owned and run business, Nicholson’s understand the benefits of having strong ties within their communities, believing that people will always support the companies that support their community.

They offer a wide range of services including new and used cars, tyres and maintenance and are passionate about helping kiwis drive safe vehicles on the roads. To match the prominence in their communities, Nicholson’s needed to boost awareness and reach of their recently revamped site.

Increasing millennial traffic to 
the website

Nicholson’s are well known in their communities, but wanted to grow their national reach to millennials, who are the highest consumer demographic for used cars in New Zealand.

Increasing website assisted sales of used cars

Historically Nicholson’s have always gotten a lot of sales through word of mouth. With a newly revamped website, they wanted to take that next step to drive more traffic to the site and increase sales.

Building brand awareness in the surrounding communities

Nicholson’s pride themselves on their community values in line with the ‘Nicholson’s vision’, and wanted to boost this sense of community out further to those not immediately close to the dealerships.

What was done

We established the conversion goals for both ends of the sales funnel and removed the barriers preventing users from completing those conversion goals. This step was all about setting up the site and social media platforms to best aid promotion and organic search.
