Server Monitoring

Our Content Delivery Network (CDN) is a service that disperses your static assets to various server locations around the world. This makes static assets, which are generally large files like images, physically closer to users and therefore faster to download. As a CDN disperses assets across several server locations, the weight of your site is also distributed better during times of high traffic.

We utilise MaxCDN for our included CDN offering. Only static assets such as images, CSS and Javascript located within the wp-content directory are offloaded and served by the CDN.

Proprietary Firewall

We have integrated a proprietary firewall to automatically direct good, bad and malicious traffic. There are a number of checks in place that allow our system to determine which traffic should be allowed, such as real human traffic or search engine crawlers, and which traffic should not, such as malicious activity or scraping bots. Additionally, we automatically prevents certain files, file types and directories from being publicly accessible. This includes: .htaccess, wp-config.php and debug.log files, as well as the. _wpeprivate directory and PHP files located within the wp-content/uploads directory.

SSL is security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.SSL Ensures that all data remains private and integral Information can only be read and understood by the intended parties.

Google ranks sites higher when they use HTTPS and web browsers will show prominent warnings to visitors of non-SSL pages.

A 256-bit encryption SSL certificate will cost $299 + GST per year.
