CRM applications are among the most popular tools that small to medium-sized businesses can use to improve their commercial activity and provide better service.
In this piece of research GetApp set out to understand how SMBs use CRM software and what other applications they use frequently and would like to get integrated with their CRM (Customer relationship management) system.
GetApp asked a group of 500 small and medium-sized businesses owners aged between 25 and 54 the following question;
“What applications would you most like to see integrated with your CRM?”
The Results;
#1. Google Apps – 62,28%
#2. Accounting apps (Xero, Quickbooks) – 39,32%
#3. Time tracking Apps – 36,13%
#4. Office 365 – 35,33%
#5. Project management Apps 33,73%
#6. General eMail – 28,34%
In Summary;
1. Google Apps is the most requested integration for CRMs with over 62% selecting this option
2. The second most important in the list are accounting applications including New Zealand based Xero
3. Following in 3rd, 4th and 5th place are time tracking apps, Office 365, and project management appender and contacts are all synchronised to work together. Update a contact on your mobile phone and it will be automatically updated across all your devices, send an email from your phone and see it sent on your desktop, no double handling.
