We’re searching for the next member of our Auckland team. Ideally, you are currently working in an agency environment at an intermediate level or higher. We’re a relatively small team so you get high-touch within all areas of the agency, as well as great opportunities for up-skilling and career growth.

About you

You’ll be great at not only managing all stakeholders but providing accurate support in planning, project admin, and briefing of clients digital projects across website, UX, online functionality, online campaigns, dynamic emails, and social media. It’s essential that you’re digitally proficient and a confident communicator. With this being a highly client-facing role, we are after an individual who excels at making and maintaining client relationships and understands the importance of knowing their clients’ industry and competitors.

Desired skills and Experience

  • 1 – 3 years of experience in the industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and a stickler for process
  • Ability to work well under pressure – you don’t shy away from a challenge
  • Proactive and motivated with great time management skills
  • Excited about the design and digital industry, with a curious and questioning mind
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise and be proactive
  • Exceptional client management skills with the ability to up-sell and build solid relationships
  • The ability to work with a wider team to juggle priorities in order to deliver multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fantastic organisational and communication skills (verbal & written English)
  • A desire to grow within the team and be part of their ongoing success
  • Has a curiosity to learn more about the online marketing space and is consistently looking for opportunities to better themselves

Key Responsibilities

Well suited to a digital minded Account Manager with experience in marketing and a customer service-led approach, you should have the ability to come up with creative and logical solutions and most importantly you’ll have great people skills to help develop strong lasting relationships with existing clients. The role involves collaborating with internal teams (design, tech), ensuring that all strategies, whether it be written content, graphic design or paid promotion, are delivered to the highest quality. To ensure deliverables of a high standard you’ll require these skills;

  • Experience trafficking work from clients to delivery
  • A good understanding of key social trends and channels, including; Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn
  • Good networker, able to establish great relationships easily
  • Ability to think creatively about social media communications
  • Ability to support projects full life cycle
  • Work with Social Creative on concepting social post ideas for clients
  • Trafficking social projects from start through to post campaign analysis
  • Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media opportunities

To ensure deliverables of a high standard you’ll require these skills;

  • You should have excellent communication skills and can clearly make your point/idea/problem easily understood
  • You empathise with the customer and can feel their pain, you want to help
  • You are flexible and understand that solutions can change midway through
  • You share industry innovations and trends amongst the team
  • You are willing to learn and give things a go
  • You enjoy working as part of a team, have a positive mindset and want to be part of their ongoing success
